Happy 1 Year Love Meme

So in addition to two memes already up, I figure we might as well have a third celebrating the fact the game's been open for a year. We've done so much collectively, had an entire damn battle, literally changed the map, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. We may as well take a minute or two to bask in what we've done together!
i. Comment
ii. Leave love, talk about good memories, link to old threads you're proud of, gif-train if you want
iii. Have fun

and now the text version of the really loving drunk person in a bar
Since then, I can only look back at where this game started and be amazed. Not only am I simply floored by the worldbuilding in this game (literally, in several cases!) I cannot overstate enough how solid this playerbase is. I have had the time of my life plotting with people here, I have been floored by some of the stops pulled by this game. I remember the first Reynard log, where the motherfucker tried to Redwedding a chunk of our Game of Thrones cast and laughing myself stupid over the narrative decision+the characters it was happening to. And then you know, learning to go "fucking Reynard" which might as well be one of the game's tagline. (Or at least the tagline for that plot.)
Fucking Reynard brings me to the next point though, and that is the metaplot for this game plus the NPCs. These characters are incredibly lively, and the plots they give us have provided some of the best events of this game. Hats off to everyone involved with Reynard from November onwards, because it was a beautiful piece of storytelling. Having that final defeat of Reynard felt like a true victory, and in a game that revels in twists and turns, it was a nice thing to have something final. Cheers to our plot-mod for making this, and other plots, possible.
But let's sidebar that, because the players involved with February's war planning deserve their own round of applause. Saber's and Lancelot's muns did planning above and beyond what a game could ask of players, and they (plus the mods) gave us something that felt intense and real and with painfully high stakes. The set up and the effort that went into it can't be emphasized enough, and I can't begin to imagine how differently things might have gone otherwise.
Everyone's contributed so much to this game, with locations, with character arcs that impact the metaplot, by simply doing things in this world and interacting with it.
I'm so glad that this game appeared when it did. I am so grateful for the playerbase that it has, with everyone being so game to explore. And I am very, very proud of the past year's worth of play.
Cheers to the next one and shit getting even more real.
