I've been chatting about Lancelot and Kirei's thread on plurk for the last few days too, so that means I really enjoy it. :D Your tags are always easy to respond to, and although I'm not canon-familiar, your Lancelot definitely reads like a good Lancelot!
It's absolutely no trouble at all! I know there are lots of different bits to the game and it can feel a bit intimidating until you get the hang of it, I just have the advantage of having been around long enough to have found my pace already!
I'm also super glad you are enjoying the thread! I know Kirei has his own thing which Lancelot is totally unaware of, and may well likely as not end up blithely never aware of, so it should be a lot of fun both ICly and OOCly to watch them make decisions c:

MAN your writing is super impressive, dude, and I've actually gone back and read old Lancelot stuff because I've been curious about how approach to stuff. LIKE his handling of Robb and getting all of that settled was a GREAT read (I went around and linked it to other people to get them to read it, I confess), and I just super, super enjoy his relationship with Faolan. I've seen you hint to some exciting stuff with Lancelot in the future, and I'm excited to see how it all falls out.
That's so kind of you to say -- to the point where I am a bit at a loss for how to reply other than thank you and I'm so glad you enjoy him! His friendship with Faolan is one of my favourite things too, it was one of those things that just really took off even better than anyone expected and they really compliment each other's skill-sets so well.
I just want to say, right back at you. I didn't know what to expect with Bridei, but man I appreciate the tags. I love getting the chance to throw Hercules at kids!
like you it will be a challenge to find something to say that i have not before, especially since i will be tl;dr-ing a lot in my response to your comment to my thread, but i shall endeavor to do my best haha. so now it's STORY TIME
i had always wanted cr with lancelot, ever since faolan became aware of him as a character (which was i believe in a handwaved letter from sigrid to him in which she failed to be a spy and faolan revealed he was one to her by immediately seeing through her code words haha). i knew him as a character from the show, and i thought it would be interesting to toss faolan at him because at once they come from the same place of loyalty and yet they are so different in turn. and yet i saw such a thing -- cr between them -- as some sort of impossible, unreachable goal in turn. what would the seelie marshall want with the unseelie spy, what with how busy lancelot seemed to be at the time i couldn't see how, beyond the few chance encounters we had managed, they would be able to amount to much more. i had struggled up to that point as you know and then just as i was starting to find my footing, my footing had started to fall out from under me as tori started to idle out and eventually dropped sigrid.
and then while i was trying to figure out how/if i could approach you for much of anything at all, you messaged me and the stars aligned or something, lmao. and while faolan's situation began to fall apart, all the pieces began to fall into place oocly, such that i knew exactly where he would go and what he could do and did not feel nearly as lost as i would have without him there for faolan or you there for me. and that was the start of an amazing, at times painful, at times ridiculous roller-coaster of a storyline that frankly, has been the highlight of my experience here. just as getting to know you and the friendship you have offered me has been the highlight for me personally as well.
i've already said enough and i'll say a lot more in the other comment and no doubt you're shaking your head at my wordiness even ooc like this lmao, but it needs to be said and so i shall. your writing is amazing and you are brilliant and i am so grateful for our friendship, i look forward to much more of all of this to come.

I am so glad to be back and also FINALLY HAVE CR WITH LANCELOT. It's everything I've hoped it would be thus far, and hope that Lagertha and he will become friends and colleagues! They get along very well together. And of course, your writing is as lovely as I remember it! My Bethany still has a soft spot for her cousin, by the way! Those days were good days, and I remember them fondly.
We need to write more great stuff like that, and if Lance and Faolan do not become an item soon and Lagertha ever gets wind of this thing, she will take matters into her own hands. THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED!

hands down one of the best action/fight scenes i've ever participated in!! it was so fun to play off your lancelot, and it was ridiculously easy to plot and plan oocly! i can't wait to do more with him and bellamy, to see where it might go from here.

Ahh I am so glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun for me too! Fight threads, especially with that many people involved, are one of those things that can either be great or a mess -- especially with a mixture of abilities -- but that one really went great and I think (hope!) we pulled it off enough that everyone managed to have a cool moment! I am excited to see Bellamy again too (YOUR TAG SITS IN MY INBOX AS I PLOW THROUGH, EYEING IT) and to see where things go! It's one of those fun things where they're all not that different, but have different perspectives from experience, and that's always a lot of fun to play out.
You're very kind! It's been fun watching Bellamy come into his own too! This is one of those games where I think once you find your footing you can really take off, and do so many cool things. You just need the courage to rush in and start doing them!
