TEST DRIVE MEME
Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here! OPTIONAL SCENARIOS 01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD. The grand feast is held in the Eaglais clearing. The food is good, the music is sweet, and the evening is lit by gentle fairy lights. All Shardbearers of all courts are summoned here under a universal truce for the evening. Nature itself has shaped itself into tables, chairs, and long couches so that the new guests can rest. When they’re ready to call it a night, Shardbearers are brought to their court strongholds in a one-way trip by fairies and imps. 02. NETWORK Take advantage of your Locket! The network can be accessed by any Shardbearer with a locket or shardless characters with enchanted devices, and is a quick way to meet new people and discuss the state of the world. 03. WILDCARD. Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld! There are lots of places to go, and plenty of trouble to get into in them! |

A strangled noise comes from her throat as it constricts painfully, pulling back for air but just a short distance. She wants to be near, and she takes that moment to drink in the changes that have happened to Korra. Finally, she cracks a small, weak smile.]
I like th' hair.

korra understands the pain of losing close friends — moreso now that she'd spent three years away to heal — and she's immediately apologetic that she inflicted that pain upon merida. even if she hadn't meant to.
when merida pulls away, korra tips her head to look at the tips of her hair, almost like she's reminding herself of just how short it is. ]
Thanks. [ if she says so herself, it's not a bad style for someone who cut it with a hunting knife. ] Yours is just like I remember it. [ a hand reaches up, and korra touches at those curls, letting them twist around her fingers before she'll let her hand rest on merida's shoulder. ] How have you been?
no subject
Korra is, was, and always will be someone Merida considered herself close to. After all the arguing and the fright that came with Mako losing his titles and powers, it just made them closer. She lets out a small huff at the question, tilting her head in a way that shifts the choker around her neck.]
Adjustin'. It's...different to th' Drabwurld we know. It's not just Glaschu an' Dorchadas anymore. There's a whole world out there.
[Including Leathann, which sailed in the sky, but she left that part out for now.]
You missed a few battles. An' travelin' through th' heart of th' Uaine Cridhe, fallin' through th' worlds...it's been a crazy three months.
no subject
as such, korra shakes her head and holds up her hands to slow down merida's explanations, confusion clearly writ on the avatar's face. ]
Okay, okay, I think I need you to start from the beginning. The battles I get, but what's this about the worlds?
no subject
She sighs before she uses her own hands to elaborate, waving one.]
When we got to th' heart, we were supposed to wish, to change our fate. Th' wish must have confused it, because it sent us through th' worlds. Everyone's. I saw mine a thousand years into the future, saw DunBroch an' my family. [She pauses, then decides to mention later about giving up her crown.] Then we landed, well, here.
[Merida spreads her arms.]
Somehow we ended up in th' Drabwurld's past. There's no Void, at least no sign of it yet.

ouch, her head hurt. so much she had to remember, so much she had to separate from home and from here. ]
And no war, [ she murmurs, reaching a hand up to rub at her chest, right above her shard. ] That's what that guy said, this is before the war, right?
no subject
That's right, but...what guy?
[She'd heard whispers through the festivities, but she'd never asked, simply because she hadn't known the person talking about it or she was content to just gathering intel.]
no subject
... The guy with the tea, the one with all the books.
no subject
It might be because I fell through th' worlds to get here, but I've never seen anyone like that.
[Guy with the tea and all the books would once upon a time have described Lord El-Melloi, but Merida doubts that's who Korra means.]
no subject
It felt like I was in a dream when I saw him, it was right before I got here.
[ "here" being the feast. ]
no subject
I can't help you there, but I can keep an ear out to hear if anyone experienced similar.
no subject
Thanks.
[ and then takes a seat, pulling merida down with her. ]
So! Tell me about your world! What was it like in the future?
no subject
Amazin'. There's so many buildings, an' these metal things called, ah, cars? Hiro explained it to me once but I've forgotten a bit. They're like...transportation? Like horses but not alive. [It's difficult for her to explain, even having seen them.] An' people walkin' around carryin' these things called 'phones'.
no subject
Satomobiles! [ a grin breaks out across korra's face and she shifts her seat to cross her legs. ] That's what we call them where I come from. [ she bites her lower lip for a split second — ] We've got phones too, but I don't think anyone's going to be carrying them around.
[ after all, they were huge... and you had to wind them up for them to work. ]
no subject
[Speaking of Asami, she'll be happy to see Korra just as much as Merida is, but she takes the time her friend is here as hers for now. She'll mention her if her well being comes up, but for now she tilts her head.]
These were small an' fit in th' palm of your hand...I've seen one before here, when th' Station was still around.
no subject
[ and then he invited giant mechatanks and used them to fight against benders in the name of "equality". he almost killed asami. it wasn't pretty.
also, hold up: ]
The Station's gone?
