Ah--! Kira? [ The next person Kira bumps into? None other than Allison, who looks more surprised than anything to see her here. It isn't every day that you're dragged into God knows where by Faeries (and, really, she's going to have to get that part of the bestiary updated, because it lists them as 'not real', and well). She certainly wasn't expecting to not be alone, here.

Not that she isn't grateful for it. Her surprise turns into relief, and Allison smiles, letting out a breath that seems to lift the weight off her shoulders. ] You got taken, too, huh?

[You would think most would celebrate or be enjoying this feast, or be rolling around with the revelry and song and dance. You would think that most would be happily or angrily chatting with each other, saying this isn't fair or that this is exciting! You would think most would be curious to know what exactly this all would lead to.

Then again, most wouldn't be like Garrett.

A party to celebrate his arrival? No thank you, he'll just be keeping to the darker sections of the room and pickpocketing what he can from random passerby. A group of people to get to know in this so-called battle? Please. He avoids politics for a living, so he'll just be walking by and keeping an eye out for trinkets and little baubles to steal here and there. And as to what this whole thing is about? Garrett couldn't care less. He just wants to go home.

So if you've got small goods like jewelry or something special and you're not paying a lot of attention to it, be careful. A master thief is on the loose.]

[ So. Fairies. Faeries? She vaguely recalls the bestiary being vague on the spelling, among other things. Mostly the giant basically bolded text of 'does not exist'. Clearly someone in her family needed to be educated.

She'd have to fix it when she got home, if she ever got home.

She's wandering the party, lingering a little bit near the food tables, wondering, idly, if she should eat. She's hungry, but isn't there also some kind of rule about fairy food? ]

[ He does not enjoy being stabbed and shot, thank you very much. The question of what he has seen, however, garners the raise of one big scaly brow. ]

From their skies? Forests and great swathes of green between, lochs and lakes, cities and castles. It is a whole land, certainly not lacking in size, but of what interest in a view from above does a human hold? You will not be able to navigate from my viewpoint.

[ part of korra—a lot of her, actually—wants to tell aang about tenzin and his family, but there are so many reasons why she needs to bite her tongue and let it come out naturally. not the least of which is the fact that she herself has no idea how she would handle finding out about a potential future family even at her age, so how could she just spring that on aang right out of the blue? he's probably still reeling about everything else.

and, more importantly, he's hurt, and that means she needs to help him before they continue. ]

I was given waterbending lessons by the best waterbender around, so hmmm. [ she places a fingertip to her chin as she once more takes stock of their surroundings, spotting a glass of water several dozen feet away near a couple having a conversation. sorry guys, but she needs that water more, and with fluid movements she summons it to her. ] Yeah, I think I can heal you up a little.

[ the water twists around her fingers and then into a ball between her hovering palms. ]

[Well.

Fairies are a thing. And definitely not in the "well this is a thing you think you know from myth but it's actually an alien" sort that she's run into in the past with the Doctor. And that's kind of exciting. She used to be the girl that believed in fairies and magic but as she got older those sort of thoughts faded and were replaced by studying and plans for university. But being here, despite being separated from the Doctor, leaves her heart feeling light. There's a new world to explore and wonderful things to see. If she had to be kidnapped, she'd definitely take fairies over a rough alien race that tossed her into a prison.

Though, she does miss the Doctor. He would be so completely charmed at the idea of such a fantastical place. Sometimes, he seems as if he's wandered out of a fairytale himself. A man, who changes his face but always has the same twinkle in his eyes, with a magic box that contains the universe. A smile plays at her lips at the thought. She'd like to bring him here once everything was finished, if only for a moment. Just to see him in his element.

And she won't say no to a party in her honor either. Though she's not really a party sort. She stays back, leaning against the wall with a cup of wine. Though as her mind wandered, one of the fairies took it amongst herself to put a little curse on the wine. When Clara brings it to her lips, she suddenly hiccups violently and nearly spills the wine on the person next to her.]

Reddish? [ That's a new one to him. He had always thought himself more brown-toned, but far be it for him to give her the idea to call him something like 'Browny' instead! ] No, no, you may call me what you like. I have had many names before now and that one would hardly be the worst.

[One part of Aang wants to ask, but the rest of him knows he's not ready yet to hear the answer. If she tells him that she's being taught by a family of airbenders, he'll be consumed with thoughts of his culture potentially surviving. If she's being taught by non-benders, he'll be crushed by the confirmation that he really is the last.

Right now, he's hurt and already overwhelmed and he doesn't have the emotional resources for either option, so he forces himself to ignore the part that wants to know.]

If we end up staying a while, you mind showing me how to do it some time?

[He dutifully turns around and allows her to look at his back with the angry red mark left behind by Azula.] My waterbending teacher keeps meaning to show me how to heal, but there's never been much time for it. [Between needing to learn three different kinds of bending and being hunted down by the Fire Nation, teaching Aang to heal has been put on the back burner.]

[ the sight of the wound is enough to make korra's voice dissipate in her throat, and for a stretch of time, she's quiet. it's sobering to see this kind of wound on aang's back, and she can't imagine what it must have been like to watch it happen. there's a sudden pressure in korra's chest as she thinks about all the ways that scenario could have gone wrong and spirits is she glad everything turned out the way it did.

who knows if she'd even be here right now if it hadn't?

she has to shake herself out of those thoughts and put her healing hands to work. by no means is she as good as katara, and she's long since accepted that she might never be, but it's enough to take the edge off at least and make it more comfortable for aang to deal with.

I probably wouldn't be that great of a teacher. [ not to put herself down! just speaking frankly because the idea that she is a fully-realized avatar now is still something she's coming to grips with. ] But I wouldn't mind sharing some tips.

( well, of all the places she could be stuck, at least they have good taste in snacks. not that she's all too hungry, what with being interdimensionally kidnapped. or whatever this is. it's some complete defiance of physics, that much she's aware of. what the point of all of it is, she's not too clear about. but this party isn't too bad, and all things considered, she's been in worse situations. certainly not weirder situations, because going from one freakshow to the next, that's pretty even in terms of strange. but the actual conditions seem a little bit less life threatening than usual, and she's not going to overlook that.

just like she's not going to overlook the sudden presence of her best friend right there at the table with her, looking just about as hungry as lydia feels, but still considering any of the tasty looking foods placed in front of them. she's glad she isn't the only one who's completely skeptical. )

[Aang relaxes immediately when the water touches his back, so much that he doesn't notice the pause before she answers. It only takes the edge off the pain, but it's better than nothing.]

Thanks. [He might end up asking her for earthbending tips too if they're here long enough. He's anxious about being away from the war with Sozin's comet coming near, and he'd like to not fall behind on his training if he's here for a while without Toph or Katara.

He won't ask for help firebending, though. He does not want to deal with that element again.] Do you have a glider? For airbending? [Korra. You are so going to go flying with him. This is a given.]

[ Allison would jump, but she's too glad to see someone she knows, and not only someone she knows but someone she's close to and, frankly, adores. She'd be less happy to see, say, Derek Hale. But then, she'd be less happy to see just about anyone. Allison grins wide at her, bumping Lydia's shoulder with her own. ] I wouldn't want anyone else here.

[The thing is, Usagi has all this hair and two left feet. When Tommy bumps into her, there's a 99% chance she was probably already on her way to colliding with him anyway. She squeaks - stumbles on her feet and manages to right herself with his help.

She's grateful she's empty handed. ]

[Ordinarily, she'd be all geez, watch it - but there's so many people who look so lost, she can't really blame anyone for bumping into her. ]

[Radagast seems to instantly relax as soon as he realizes she's not the white wizard. That makes things better, instantly and he breaths a sigh of relief.]

No matter! [He gives her a toothy grin, shifting his staff in his hand as he peers at her.] Can't say I've ever heard of you. Oh! I'm Radagast, the Brown. [Forgive his manners, he's not used to people and he peers around them then at a few passing people, almost nervously.]

[For a moment, Usagi forgets that she is totally out of her depth, away from home and has no contact with Mamoru. ]

[She thinks about swimming, about the fancy, sweet smelling drinks she's seen people with and grins dreamily.

King Caspian!

[A bright smile spreads across his face. He hadn't ever expected to see Caspian again, so it makes the meeting all the more welcome, even if they saw each other not too long ago. It is, however, very strange that they both ended up here.

He extends his arm, intending to clasp Caspian's in greeting.]

It is good to see you, though I admit to not expecting your presence here. I do wonder if my siblings have not arrived yet, strange as the thought is. How long have you been here?
