[ The voice that stops her is all too familiar and Belle pauses, pursing her lips. It's been a long time since Hook was their enemy, really, and it's been even longer since he's tried to kill Rumple (not that it matters, now, with him gone) but she can't help but be a little on edge. There's only so much history of attempted murder someone can take before she has to take a step back and reconsider talking to someone.

Moving to one side, out of his way just in case, Belle lifts her head and looks as stern, confident and determined as she possibly can, swallowing back the strange little lump of fear in her throat. Hook was on their side now, she reminds herself, there's no reason to be afraid of him. Not anymore. ]

[ Belle stands up a little straighter, wishing she had something to protect herself, just to be safe. They're not on his ship, here, and there are no loose panels of wood for her to use to get the upper hand, no modern guns for her to use as a bartering tool - she had only herself and her mind (which, admittedly, was more than enough at times). ]

It's not a trick. These people need our help. That's why were were brought here, surely. I know enough about faeries to know they wouldn't lie about that.
