Neria Surana wanders the halls as well, ever watchful, for she does not trust the people in this place any more than she would trust the nobility of any hall. She has had experience with these things - fleeting as it was - and she knows that wherever she goes, she will be looked down upon by those above her. She is an elf, she is a mage; one of these things will be reviled and hated. But she carries both like a cloak and she is unapologetic for what and who she is. The few who have spoken to her here at Caer Glaem seem more interested in what she can offer than in her status (for now), and that is something she can work with, at least.
But there are odd creatures here, things she's never seen before. A spell wisp wraps itself around her in loops, casting a faint light in its wake, and she gives a wary glance over at the lion who pads near her.
She's even more startled to hear him suddenly chuckle.]
...Did you just laugh?

I'd not heard the joke before.
[ And the fairies are dearly cheerful little things, he doesn't mind them perching on his mane. ]

I've never heard a lion speak before.
[But then she remembers herself and she tips her head politely.]
I apologize. You probably have heard the same many times before me.

I have, but I don't mind. Well met and good evening, my lady. I am Aslan.

I am called Neria. It is a pleasure to meet you, Aslan. You're the most remarkable thing I've seen here.
[And that's saying something, considering.]
You were drawn here by the faeries as well, I take it?
