I'm not even sure here is the best for any of us. [ but he's got the drive to be much more optimistic than this. it's the settling in jitters, maybe. or the fact that he can't physically solve his problems. he can hear Annabeth's voice in his head chiding him already for only considering venturing outside of the city to get his hands on something. fighting, at least, is his normal. if he takes down some monsters, he'll feel like he's getting somewhere. ] But you're probably right. [ no, he doesn't mean her husband. he means her boyfriend. but maybe things are different in her world. maybe she isn't only more nurturing and friendly than the Aphrodite he knows, maybe she's isn't like her at all. ] I guess you'd say there was.. love magic on it.
