To be fair, the company hasn't exactly been having seven course meals beside a roaring fire. There was a while there where they very nearly starved and he's been so hungry.
Granted, he's quite sure this is all a dream. How he came here, he doesn't remember. His last memories are vague and confused. Pain. A hand in his, a damp cloth on his forehead, a star in physical form... He's been ill, very, very ill, and now he's in perfect health. It has to be a dream.
Still, he'll enjoy it while he can. No harm can come of it, right?]

Save some for the rest of us, friend.
[But his tone is joking and his smile is friendly. A dwarf! Just like home.]
it's so strange playing them not knowing each other again
It's been ages since I've had a proper meal. There's no shortage of it, you know. Food and drink, I mean.
I know! They will have to bond again!
And this dwarf looks perfectly fine.]
No, it appears to be endless. What have you been up to, going so long with without a meal?
I'm Caspian, by the way. [He'll leave off the king part, for now.]
so sad!
We've been travelling. Started running out of food.
[He glances up to give him a small smile.] Kili, at your service.
maybe they can fight zombies again :D
[Caspian thinks he'll do well to make friends in this place - it's so different from home, and if there's a battle coming, he wants to know who is on his side.
And Kili reminds him of home.]
Have you traveled between worlds before?
lol that would be cool
Between...worlds?

Here there is a war between strangers -- no shortage of food and drink, though, he notes as he wanders these halls. If he couldn't smell roasts and all sorts of dishes (and those smells are tempting, absent from the Company's travels for some time), he might think that he must have fallen asleep after the night they've had. The sea of faces he sees blurs together.
Then one face comes into focus, and he strides straight towards it, past all others until he and the impressive spread on the table can compete for Kili's attention.]
Kili!
[He calls out to him from the other side of a fruit bowl and passes a platter of sliced meat before he reaches Kili. His brother looks... himself. Completely well, even though he'd still had to rest on this same day, recovering from his wound.]

Fili! You have got to try some of this pork. At least, I think it's pork. Tastes like pork.
[He grins and holds his loaded fork out to his brother.]

Kili's return to full strength is incredible. He'd been pale as he lay resting on the table in Bard's home, the echo of his fever in his voice when there were words from him again and no more screams. Now there is colour back in his cheeks, his voice is steady, and his appetite is plain proof that he must be feeling vastly better.
The wonders of elvish medicine, just as Oin said. Fili blinks and swallows as his relief burns hot in his eyes and his nose and his throat. Quickly, he leans in to get Kili's fork into his mouth, straightening up afterwards with a smile to give his brother.]
-- It's pork.

If it was a dream, then the damage to his leg wouldn't matter, right? Neither of them would care. But Fili looked at it and the relief in his eyes was so obvious that it makes something stir uncomfortably in his stomach.]
Come sit. [He moves over to make room for his brother, patting the bench.]

Pace yourself, Master Dwarf; the food will not flee from you.
GAH we're going to have to start over with their CR dangit
Pardon me, My Lady. I haven't eaten properly in some time.
it'll be fun!
By all means, continue, if it has been so long. It seems likely you will need your strength in the days to come.
bahahah yes
...That sound a bit ominous.
