[ from the feast, alisha had carried out a sandwich herself. it lays, forgotten, beside her as she sits in front of the computer, doing her best to try and log onto google. she wants to google map this place, see how far away from wertham it really is, and try and catch a taxi back home. but she's having very little luck — and finds herself distracted when a girl peers at the computer as if she's never seen one before. she watches her for a while before she says, amused: ] It's not going to bite.

[She looks up from the screen with wide, awed eyes and blinks. After a long moment, she realizes just how weird she probably looked. Looks now, even. She glances back down at the screen and then falls down in to the seat and let's out a big sigh. ]

They're way more advanced than the computers back home. It's like a sci-fi movie.
