[It's not to say that Usagi hadn't wanted to take advantage of the feast. Food and music and wine (that she really shouldn't be allowed to drink) they're all her calling cards. But she's wise, now, to the perils of accepting things from strangers. The hard truth is that if something is supernatural and free, there's likely mischief behind it. So she steals a sandwich and takes off down the halls, out into the courtyards and overhears talk of the Station.

It seems almost too good to be true, even if she isn't one hundred percent sure what wifi is. How to get there requires her sacrificing her sandwich, but it's worth the exchange.

She's a little wide eyed as she wanders the station - bumping into strangers ("sorry!") and peering into the daunting faces of computers that are definitely more modern than what she's used to. ]

[ Simba's more than a little out of his depth with all the magical creatures and strange two-legged animals wandering around, but he hasn't lost his curiosity. "The Station" is the most sundered of all the places on the map he was given and he stuffs it back inside the pouch the fairies gave him, along with the locket, looping it over his neck before cautiously approaching the sleek homestead. The castles are too big for him to brave right away, having appeared in the Drabwurld somewhere on a battle-field. It only seemed sensible to follow the eastern road.

He's so busy staring at everything in the Station that when someone bumps into him, he lowers his ears and backs off immediately, tail down. What a lion, right? If only Timon and Pumba were here, he would have felt much more confident. ]

Oh! Sorry! Sorry, wasn't watching where I was, uh. Where I was.

[tiaraaction]

[The truth is, Usagi is not graceful. When she stumbles into Simba, it doesn't even register that it is not a person like shape she has hit. She turns, begins to apologise:]

Sorry! Sorry, it was my -

[And promptly squeaks with wide eyes and isn't sure whether to bow low enough to feel her back creak or take sixteen steps back. A lion! An apologetic ... lion? ]

- fault. A-ah - I definitely didn't mean to run into you.

[She goes with bowing, with a silent mantra of please don't eat me for being rude.]

[ He laughs breathlessly, chagrined, and in a distinctly human gesture as he sits on his hind legs, rubs the back of his mane with a paw. ]

We kinda ran into each other, huh? I'm Simba. [ So weird, she only hair fur on her head. No wonder the two-legs wear other things to cover up! ] I've ... never spoken to an animal like you before.

[ Awkwaaaaaard. ]

[tiaraaction]

[Weird is watching him do one of her embarrassed habits. She does the same thing, rubs the back of her head in embarrassment and straightens up with a sheepish look on her face. ]

I-I'm Usagi! Have you really never seen a human before?

[It is possible. Maybe there are no humans at all, where talking lions live. After a moment, she realizes she's staring. With pink ears, she blurts out: ] Sorry! I'm never seen a lion that can speak before. I mean, not a real lion. My cat -

[She stops herself short abruptly. She can feel herself beginning to ramble. My cat can talk is on the tip of her tongue, but Luna is definitely not an ordinary cat! But maybe - maybe Simba is from the same planet? Luna's never mentioned there being big cats on Mau - Luna never mentions Mau period. ]

My cat, Luna. She can speak too, but I don't think she's even as big as your paw.

[jua]

I mean, you look a little like a monkey but, uh. No, definitely not. 'Human'. Crazy.

[ Muttering the latter to himself, he cocks his head. ]

Your cat? You've been around then, met others from the jungle or plains? Where are you from, Usagi? Do you live here?

[ So many!! Questions! ]

[Computers more modern? For Aurora, who has never seen a computer before this experience is more than a little daunting which is why her proverbial feathers are that much more ruffled when Usagi runs into her.]

Perhaps you should pay more attention to where you're going.

[tiaraaction]

A-ahaha, probably ...

[Pink in the cheeks, she bows as low as she can to hide them. One day, she might grow into some grace. Today is not that day. ] I'm very sorry! I just got distracted by all the computers. They're way different from the one's at home.

[recumbence]

"Computers?" Is that what you call these odd contraptions.

[tiaraaction]

I think so. I mean, they sort of look the same but they're no way as clunky! You don't have them where you're from?

[aphrodisiacs]

[ from the feast, alisha had carried out a sandwich herself. it lays, forgotten, beside her as she sits in front of the computer, doing her best to try and log onto google. she wants to google map this place, see how far away from wertham it really is, and try and catch a taxi back home. but she's having very little luck — and finds herself distracted when a girl peers at the computer as if she's never seen one before. she watches her for a while before she says, amused: ] It's not going to bite.

[tiaraaction]

[She looks up from the screen with wide, awed eyes and blinks. After a long moment, she realizes just how weird she probably looked. Looks now, even. She glances back down at the screen and then falls down in to the seat and let's out a big sigh. ]

They're way more advanced than the computers back home. It's like a sci-fi movie.

[Minako is still figuring her way around, getting lost more than a few times. No sign of Artemis or any of the others, it seems she's alone here.

She lets out a sigh, hands clasped behind her back as she leans against a wall to watch people pass her by. She could do this. The first she had done upon arrival was make sure she had her transformation crystal, she could be strong on her own of she had to. If that was the way things had to be so everyone else could enjoy the hard won peace back home, Minako would survive.

She's about to turn away in search of finding something to eat when she catches sight of two familiar odangos making their way through the crowd. Could it be....]

USAGI!

[Minako doesn't pause when those around her who stop and stare at her loud exclamation or even the few mutters as she pushes her way past to find her friend.]

SCREAMS!!!!

[tiaraaction]

[There is absolutely no mistaking Minako's voice. For a moment, she thinks maybe she hallucinated it out of desperation. But she stands on her tip-toes and tries to spot blonde and red through the crowd with impatient urgency.

She elbows her through the crowd and when she spots Minako's red bow she squeaks and yells: ]

Minako!

[She's like a woman possessed as she barrages her way over. ]

Usagi!

[As soon as the other girl is within reach, Minako doesn't hesitate to wrap her arms around Usagi. Usagi is more than her princess, she's her best friend. They have been through everything together and though Minako would like nothing better than to make sure Usagi is safe with everyone, there is a part of her which is glad she's here.

Even more importantly, Minako is glad Usagi isn't here alone.]

[tiaraaction]

[She squeezes Minako around the middle and laughs with giddy excitement. ]

I'm so glad you're here too! I couldn't find anyone.

[She's not sure now, what she'd have done if it were just herself here. ]

It's just us then?

[Minako lets go slightly after a moment, smiling happily.]

It will be like an all expense paid vacation! I bet the food is great here and we can relax a bit!

[She remarked with a happy excitement, jumping up a little. She hasn't forgotten why they're here but for the moment, there is no reason they can't enjoy this.]

It's alright, Usagi-san. [Hotaru had seen the two blond buns of her princess and had made her way over to her light as fast as she could. Apparently, Usagi was lost in a world of her own as she did not notice when she bumped into the younger girl. She smiled as she grabbed the princess's elbow, steadying her.] But please be careful, I would not forgive myself if you got hurt.

[tiaraaction]

[Relief washes over her almost instantaneously. Hotaru is a very welcome sight in a crowd full of strangers. She visibly relaxes, shoulders slumping her mouth stretching into a pleased smile. Placing a hand over Hotaru's, she shakes her head. ]

Sorry, sorry Hotaru. It's just totally overwhelming, I got distracted trying to take it in.

[She scratches her cheek, sheepish. ] I'm glad you're here! I was so sure I was here alone, for a moment. Is - is Chibi-Usa with you?

[bornomega]

[At the mention of her best friend, Hotaru tries not to show her sorrow. She shakes her head. No, Usagi was here and now and more important.]

I'm afraid not, Usagi-san. Still, even here I will protect you, and should she come, I will protect her as well.

[tiaraaction]

You have to protect yourself too, okay?

[If she looks a little sad, she's trying hard not to show it. All her friends - they always try so hard to keep her safe. This time, she's going try to keep Hotaru safe. ]

[acceleratings]

[ belatedly, tommy would think she's hard to miss. what with... all the hair and everything. like she's some sort of rapunzel. then he would want to one hundred percent punch himself right in the face for actually even thinking that and comparing her to it.

but. that'll come later.

because right now, he's not really paying attention either—something, and he'll never say what it was, caught his attention and he turned the other way—and bumps into her just as she bumps into him. ]

Crap. [ there's a small stumble, his hand reaching out to make any attempt to keep them both steady. ] Sorry. You okay?

[tiaraaction]

[The thing is, Usagi has all this hair and two left feet. When Tommy bumps into her, there's a 99% chance she was probably already on her way to colliding with him anyway. She squeaks - stumbles on her feet and manages to right herself with his help.

She's grateful she's empty handed. ]

Fine, I'm fine!

[Ordinarily, she'd be all geez, watch it - but there's so many people who look so lost, she can't really blame anyone for bumping into her. ]

Are you alright? I didn't hit you too hard, did I?

[acceleratings]

[ for just a quick moment he looks surprised at the question, then laughs, because... well. ]

No, no. It takes a lot more than that to knock me down.

[ he gives a good-natured smile, slipping his hands into his pockets. ]

I should've been watching where I was going. Totally my fault. [ because, that is the nice thing to do, right? well. if she had been a he, tommy wouldn't have been so amicable, but... he likes to pretend he has some sort of manners when it comes to ladies.

well. cute girls.

There's too many people just standing in the way.

[ Kami is making a headlong dash down the hallway to somewhere when she careens around a corner and straight into the other girl. ]

Oof! [ She throws her hands out to grab Usagi's and keep them both from falling, though the end result is that they wind up doing a little twirl. ] Oh god, I'm so sorry, are you okay?
