it's something completely different to show up here, and be told that, and then all but waved off and told to enjoy yourself because you're now fighting a war. at least he knew the enchanted forest, had gotten in and out and back and away again so many times, what's one more? this? this was something different, and while the magic and the faeries and the people didn't quite bother him, this isn't where he wants to be. these aren't the people he wants to be with.
and even if hook is a welcome sight for his familiarity alone, it doesn't make this better. if he and hook ended up here, what does that mean for regina's curse? ]
Depends on how many of us aren't supposed to be here. [ oh hey hook, did you mean to pull him aside? ] Have you seen Regina? Or the Charmings?

color him surprised as it ends up being you, neal, he finds and not yet another stranger. ]
Baelfire.
[ he could linger on it, on him being there out of all the possibilities, but past times tell him this isn't the moment for it, so hook proceeds forward with what is being said. ]
Not much of a riddle if the vast number of unhappy faces tell anything. [ and indeed there are plenty of those who are, just like them, upset with their present predicament. but much like baelfire, hook is pleased to find a familiar face amongst the crowds, and perhaps even more so than once boy, now man.
as for regina or the charmings, he shakes his head once. ]
Cannot say I have. Perhaps it is better so.
