Fairies.
Leo thinks he has to say it out loud a couple times to properly associate with the fact that he's just been kidnapped by fairies. Seriously, you wouldn't think the demigod crap is enough? Apparently not. Apparently he's gone from one civil war to another one entirely, and, yet again, he's some kind of prophesized warrior or something. Or not, he wasn't really listening that much.
So he's stuck in a land with a bunch of little fairy people trying to pull tricks and apparently trying to kill each other.
Awesome.
Leo's curiosity gets the better of him, and the moment he's free of whatever lecture he's getting, he ducks into a coffee shop, drawn in by the beacon basically screaming "FREE WI-FI". This could be some kind of weird illusion, or god trick, but you know what? Whatever. Going for it. He pushes open the door and pauses, spotting a head of familiar, curly hair, and a huge grin bursts onto his face, because of all the people to end up here with him, he's psyched that it's Hazel. ] Hazel! Oh man, I am totally glad to see yo--are you drinking coffee? Whoa.
I mean--seriously, is this some kinda Gaea thing, do you think? I mean, fairies are kind of...earthy, right? Sorta?
;w; ♥♥♥♥
I can't say for sure, to be honest. All I really know about fairies is that they're Irish or something like that. I wouldn't know why Irish creatures would want anything to do with Greeks or Romans.
Also, yes, this is coffee. It's really good!

Maybe our forefathers are like, secretly three part gods. Half Roman, Half Greek....part Irish. I dunno. [ wow, nailed it with your math there, valdez.
still, he waves off his worry and offers her a lazy grin, leaning across the table to sniff at the coffee. he didn't even know hazel was old enough to drink coffee--he didn't even think he was, but maybe there was a reason he wasn't allowed to have it. ] It smells awesome.
