Only the lab equipment gets to tell me that. And that usually just means things aren't pulled back well enough.

I suppose in regards to your fighting abilities, it also hides the occassional blood splatter well.

It could, but that's not preferable. Dried blood in your hair is a most unsatisfying experience.
