Time to re-explore that childhood (or get one for the first time). Rules are as simple as usual!

You're Just An:

1. Adult mind in the wrong body - looks like you really shouldn't have drank that potion, after all! Better hope nobody sees you like this, and that the effects aren't permanent...

2. Adorable bitty all rounder - Maybe it was an accident, maybe not. But your size is your age, with all the mental attributes that come with it.

Okay, So Wat Do?:

1. Back to school! First day back, middle of term with a small bullying problem? Time for your bitty to get some edumacation. Play with some friends or get the teacher involved! If your adult instincts are still all there, maybe you could play yourself up as a child genius; who knows? Someone might catch you out...

2. It's adventure time!~ Them kids have all the imagination. Quickly! Your damsel in distress needs rescuing from the dragon! It's time to kiss the bride! Play time has no rules, and neither does this prompt- except for curfew. Mother dearest always said to be back before dark.

3. Gots a boo boo! Oh dear, looks like someone's gone and skinned their knee. This requires a serious operation of silly jokes and coddling, before those tears start to fall and never seem to stop.

4. I think I love you! Young love is just so beautiful. Maybe you're pulling pigtails, so to speak. Maybe you have a crush on your teacher, and you just HAVE to get it out there. The clearest sign of love is always a note, however- just make sure to make that 'yes' box really big, so they know exactly where to tick.

5. They went away. We all lose loved ones, sometimes. Maybe the rents have just split, maybe your best friend is moving away. Maybe the only reply that can really be given is that "they're in heaven now, sweetheart". Whatever the reason, they're just not there, and you want to know why.

6. Off to the circus! Or the theme park. Or the aquarium. It's babies day out, with all the crack, fluff, and panic inducing moments implied. Pet a lion! Go on the Ferris wheel! Just try not to lose your adult companion, or things could become dicey.

7. You're in big doo-doo, mister. You missed curfew by ten minutes. Your Sunday best is covered in mud and god knows what else, and you let rip that new swear word you picked up from that friend you're not allowed to play with. You bet your ass you'll be in the naughty corner for weeks.

8. Big ball of FUBAR. You went and got yourself lost, at no fault of your own. The big kids pushed you down the well, and left you there. All you know is you're in a huge amount of trouble, and a little kindness is going to have to go a long way to get you safe.

9. Go the fuck to sleep. Dreamland is good, trust me. No really- don't get out of bed, you're fine right. There. Its time for bed, or to prepare for it! Bath time doesn't mean run down the halls naked, but if you catch a quick break, I'm sure you can achieve great things.

10. Time to shine! This is your big moment, right here. That dance recital you've been working hard on, the Christmas play, and you're the tree. This is a big point in your life, a time where you can show off your skills and make history! This is it. You're making it happen.

{Since coming under the care of Lord Elrond, Aragorn has kept to himself. He is smaller than a regular child of Man - something that causes him to hesitate around the much taller Elves - but he is older than he seems. Even at this age, there is wisdom in his eyes - almost as if the child - Estel - carries knowledge that burdens him.

Yet let it not be said that he isn't a mischievous child - or one that is distracted by Elvish beauty.

Particularly where she is concerned.

When he first laid eyes on her, he was sure she was one of the stars the Elves cherished. How could any Elf be so beautiful? He has seen more Elves than most children his age, but she...

She's not like them. As glorious and graceful as they are, she is...above.

He thinks he is alone when he first attempts her name.}

Arwen. {The sound of it makes him smile and he stares at his toes in silent delight.}

[Arwen was not one to question the wisdom of her father, nor did she hold any prejudices against other races like some of the older elves. Rather there's an innocent curiosity that accompanies every movement and glance she casts in his direction.

Lessons done for the day, she moves through her home, attempting to practice the slow grace her mother seemed to naturally radiate while she looks for someone to occupy her time.

The sound of her name draws her attention, pulling her focus away from her own steps. She moves towards him, a small smile on her lips as she watches him. Her father's words ring in her ears of making him feel welcome, and the sun wouldn't set for some time.]

Did you want to play?

{His breath catches and he jumps, nearly losing his balance. Is she talking to him? He opens his mouth; then closes it; then opens it again. Nothing is coming.

His cheeks turn a painful shade of red and he forces himself to look up. Somehow her kindness makes it even harder for him to function. If he doesn't breathe soon, his blushing cheeks will soon turn blue!}

Are you busy, my lady? {Gilraen, his mother, has taught him his manners - particularly where women are concerned.} I would not wish to intrude.

{Lord Elrond is showing him a great kindness, after all. It won't do to distract his daughter from her studies.}

[She waits patiently for him to speak again, dipping her head slightly to hide her own flush to her cheeks at the 'my lady'.]

I am quite free. My brothers are with Nana for lessons and Ada is in a meeting.

[There's a glint to her eyes as she toys with the fabric of her skirt before holding out her hand to him.]

I have something I wish to share with you.

[Her own personal haven, the library.]

{He brightens considerably at the offer and gently takes her hand. Truthfully, she could have asked him to go to the moon and he would have agreed just as rapidly.}

What is it? {His grey eyes are full of wonder as he watches her.} I haven't explored much.

It is a surprise.

[She intertwines her fingers with his before gently pulling him along. Her other hand gathers a handful of her skirts to keep from tripping.]

I would be more than happy to show you around some time.

[That would be the gracious thing to do, wouldn't it?]

Have you been to the Hall of Fire?

{His smile transforms into a grin. Well a surprise sounds nice and he sees no reason to argue.}

I would be grateful. {Are their fingers entwined? His heart beats harder and he matches his steps with hers.}

I haven't. I trust it isn't on fire?

[She gently guides him down one of the many hallways, his question earning a light laugh. It was a valid question, truly, though for one who'd grown within its walls - quite amusing.]

No, though there is a fire that is lit at all times.

[Giving him another smile, she leads him through a maze of hallways before pulling him towards the large double doors before them - her own enthusiasm clear.]

Both the hall and my surprise should be fairly vacant at this time of day. We should stop there after. It is quite a sight to behold.

[Her other hand releases her skirts, coming to rest on one of the doors to the library.]

Are you ready?

{He feels more than a little foolish, but that emotion is quickly forgotten when he hears her laugh. So what if he is a fool? The result is worthwhile.}

If it is a place you favor, I will not be disappointed. {It's strangely easy to walk at her side. The more time he spends in her presence, the more he relaxes and allows himself to be curious - rather than just nervous.}

Would you mind showing me the books you like best? {The request is hard for him to get out. There is so much that can be learned about a person by their choices. After a moment, he smiles and nods.}

I'm ready.

[The request catches her unprepared, earning an eager nod of agreement. Her brothers were wonderful and sweet - incredibly protective when with her... Though they had their own studies and interests to keep them occupied, Arwen keeping hers mostly to herself.

Pushing open the door, she leads him into the impressive library. There's a slight pause to let him take it all in, the collection of knowledge and tales still somewhat overwhelming even to Arwen.

She slowly starts moving again, taking him to where she kept her favorites.]
