I probably could, but most of what I want is dependent on myself, not others. Being better at the craft, for example.

Having access to a family library would aid you in that, if you married into the right one, of course. Isn't that one of the few benefits of a magi lifestyle?

Books only get one so far. Everything else must be applied, practiced, and perfected.

I can't say that I trust anyone making proposals. It feels like they're just demonstrating ulterior motives. Plus the whole emphasis on procreation for the mere sake of circuits-- [Nope.]
