shinjiro aragaki | persona 3 | unseelie
[he didn't expect to wake up at all, let alone in some imp castle. he was supposed to be dead. he checks for a bullet hole in his coat, just to be sure that he was definitely shot. he'd have to fix that later. he didn't like the crowd, didn't even touch the food until he watched a few others dig into it and end up being fine. it looked good, and it wasn't junk, so he grabbed a napkin full before ducking out of the feast and into the halls.
he maybe, maybe lingers by the door to check if any other SEES members are around, but from the looks of it, he guesses not. he doesn't have time to stick around some party, anyway. he needs to find a way out and fast; he doesn't belong here.]
( station )
[bye felicia. he's out. he'd rather stick around the station than some castle. he doesn't want to be associated with a war and a queen and king he doesn't owe jack to; he's better off without them. if there's any place he has a better chance of gathering information from, it's here. he liked the familiarity of it, too- technology, vending machines, things that were more homely than not.
he helps himself to the food, has a nice meal before settling down on one of the couches. he naps, for a little bit, his beanie tugged partially over his eyes. later, he grabs a cup of tea and fiddles around on the locket, trying to gather as much information as possible.]
station!
But even so, unfamiliar and strange as it may be, the Station is quite entertaining to visit every so often. A lot of new folk from both court come here to settle and it's good for making connections.
Currently leaning over a prone form of a child of the Men sprawled over a couch, concerned frown in place. ]
Are you well?
[ There are rooms available for all, why would anyone choose to rest out here if they were well?
#elflogictomakeshithappen]aww yee
shinjiro sits himself up straight (or what he calls straight, he's slouching quite a bit) and pushes his hat back up off his face.]
Fine. [he had been hoping no one would bother him, but it looks like that's never going to be the case. a part of him regrets ever allowing himself to fall asleep.] What do you want?
eheheheh ♥
Ah, my apologies, but I was made to wonder why choose to sleep out here when you may claim a room! Beneath the ground these rooms may be, but they are plenty comfortable and cosy.
no subject
...Sheesh. It's just a nap. Didn't know I had to grab a room for one.
no subject
You would be safer there, is all I meant to say. This may be neutral grounds for the shardbearers and native folk alike, but the beasts, they do not respect treaties or borders.
[ He shrugs slightly, still smiling. ]
Many there are out there, and many of them dangerous.
no subject
[he doesn't seem too phased by legolas' concern, either. he can protect himself just fine, if it comes down to it.]
Not your problem.
Station
So, yeah, she bounces from the castle to the Station just to see if she can get her thoughts in order. Haruka isn't paying any attention at all to where she's going, until she sees a very familiar face. Her eyes widen and she feels like she's choking. She probably sounds like she's being strangled, too, when she finally finds some of her voice.]
Sh-shinjiro-senpai?
no subject
reality can be a real pain in the ass.
he takes a few steps toward haruka, hands tucked into the pockets of his peacoat. there's an overwhelming amount of emotions welling up inside him that he isn't comfortable with. he can't even manage the words he wants to say to her. when he speaks, his voice is soft, nearly sad.]
...You.
no subject
...Me. It's...been a long time.
[Forever, it feels like, since the last time she saw his face in person. Haruka clears her throat, hoping that'll help get some more words out.]
I've missed you.
no subject
[feels like minutes, to him. he doesn't know what else she's been through after he died. maybe knowing that SEES continued to take down shadows was enough. he didn't know if ken ended up being okay. watching someone die is a hard thing to do.
he closes most of the distance between then, reaching up to give her a comforting pat on her head. her hair is soft, just as he remembered.]
You haven't changed a bit.
no subject
Nope. Only thing that's changed is that the Dark Hour doesn't exist anymore.
[Haruka can't help feeling pride and affection for her friends at SEES who made that possible. If it hadn't been for them fighting alongside her on the front lines, she doesn't think she would've had the courage needed to take that final step. Though, she neglects to mention that the other change is that she'll no longer be there to really celebrate that victory.]
no subject
What?
[he tucks his hand back into his pocket, taking a step back. he's ... shocked. but proud, and relieved.]
You did it? What happened?
