feast ii;
Anna? [ her voice is excitable, blue eyes wide ] You must be Anna, right? [ a large grin splits her face and she grabs anna's shoulders to pull her into a hug ] I'm Korra, I know your sister! She's told me a lot about you!
no subject
[ There's no time to react before she's pulled into a hug by a total stranger. What's the diplomatic way to deal with this?! ]
Aha, hey..!
[ It's not an indignant complaint like it might be with anyone else but an awkward attempt at the hello they've apparently skipped right past. But then this Korra lady keeps talking and the surprise drops right out of her. ]
Wait - you know Elsa? Do you know where she is?
no subject
Yeah, she's off castle grounds for a couple weeks to take care of some things, but she'll be back! [ stepping back, she drops her hands to her side, but if you're expecting an apology for the hug then... it's not coming, korra's kind of an affectionate person. ] She'll be so happy to see you.
no subject
[ She's a little busy being genuinely confused to care about the propriety of hugs right at the moment - though she wouldn't want an apology for it anyway. ]
No, I - I just saw her. We just... what could she have to take care of?
[ ... without me? ]
no subject
It was probably a quest the Queen gave to her. [ resting a hand on anna's shoulder, korra gives her a concerned look ] Are you okay?

well.
chocolate.
she has her back turned to the table as she starts to slowly make her way towards it, tiny steps, nodding along to a long goodbye until finally the other person turns away and she can get right to the desserts-! ]
Oh! [ almost in sync with the person she turned into, and she almost ducks down right away to help clean up, but no, she should reassure the person first, since they're apologizing and- wait. she- knows that voice.
when she looks up, she looks shocked and excited all at once. overwhelmed! is probably the word. but she can't really think. for a split second anyway. ]
Anna. [ a laugh bubbles up before she snaps out of her shock, and then she's stepping forward to pull her into a hug and she definitely just stepped on a cookie or something crunchy because she can feel it get crushed under her shoe but it doesn't matter it doesn't matter even the littlest bit ] You're here. I can't believe you're really here. [ but she is! and she should probably stop crushing her! ] -- Sorry, oh. [ cookieshoe. she looks down to check out the damage, but she can.. deal with that later. or you know, Siku can. she's definitely checking out the crumbs and seeing what's suitable for nibbling on. ] Oops? [ aand there's another little laugh once she looks back up at her sister again, one that peters off into a sigh and a kind of overly relieved look ] It's so good to see you.

Elsa!
[ Anna's hugs are warm and tight and last a moment longer than you expect; they always have. But there's extra in there this time because thank god, she's not alone, Elsa's not alone. They can figure this out together, just like they figured out how to thaw the fjords. They got here okay, so surely there's got to be a way to go home, right? She's smiling when they pull apart, all sparkling eyes and freckle-dusted cheeks. ]
It's good to see you too! I mean, I was worried, there were those fairies and they kept calling me precious and then before I know it I'm kind of wandering in here and I can't find you... Where are we?
[ It's not until now that movement around Elsa's feet draws Anna's attention toward the... dog? At least, she assumes it's a dog. ]
Oh! Hello little guy..!
no subject
[ which is what she's seriously so thankful for. Elsa has friends in the Unseelie court now, sure, but the idea of her being split up from her sister- well, she's glad she doesn't have to entertain the thought. things are changing, with both the war itself and her feelings about it, but right now that doesn't matter very much. how could it? she feels overwhelmed, in a way, so grateful and worried and happy and overprotective all rolled up into a little rubber ball of a feeling that feels like bouncing around her chest like mad. she wants to explain everything, make sure she's as prepared as she can be for what she's about to experience, but there's also the big sister part of her that just wants to make sure are you okay? ]
This place is called the Drabwurld. There's magic, and people from- everywhere, anywhere. It's hard to explain without making it sound more confusing than it has to be, but you'll see what I mean as you get to know more people. And this- [ she holds her hand out just past her hip, and Siku is quick to look up and nose at her fingers, snuffling a bit, happyhappyhappy. ] - this is Siku. She's a snow fox, and she was given to me by one of the fairies here, a few months ago. She was just a little baby then, you should have seen her. But now she's sort of grown to be a companion of sorts. [ her eyes crinkle as she smiles again ] We're not quite as close as Sven and Kristoff just yet, but maybe someday we will be. [ she also helps focus her magic a bit, but she'll get to that later ] She's very sweet, I promise.

Shouldn't we get back?
[ Arendelle is waiting for them. Kristoff is waiting for her. And just think how Olaf would feel if suddenly neither of them came back... ]
I mean - this place is nice and all, but...

We don't have much control over when we arrive here, or when we leave again. The monarchs seem to have a way of manipulating time, I suppose, and as such, they feel it's justifiable to keep us here as long as they see fit.
[ and she almost apologizes, because she is sorry, she knows how much it means to Anna - the gates finally being open, being united with their kingdom instead of locked away in the castle - but. well. as responsible as she feels, and as much as she's been hoping, she knows it wasn't her choice to bring her here. none of them have that control. ]
I've been here for a few months now, Anna. [ time for Elsa to have a minor babble moment- ] Well, I was here, and then the monarchs sent me home, only to bring me back a few days later. ... A few days later at home, but a few months later, here. [ it's a short-lived babble! ] My point is that while we're here, the people at home won't know we're gone.
[ but that's not very comforting, is it!! she's so bad at this. ]
But we're not just trapped here, you know? They brought us here because they need our help. That's what I've been trying to focus on - that if I can't be at home, in our kingdom, then I should be doing what I can to help here.

Hoe? Ice dress.....?
no subject
Yeah, it's like... honestly I don't really know how it works... You'd think you could see right through it with it being ice and all...
[ Focus, Anna. ]
--But yeah, it's kind of - blue? White hair, looks like a prettier version of me? [ She points at her face, as if it needs indicating. ]

[Sakura just has an older brother, but she can only imagine she'd worry and want to know if Toya did show up. So she can understand Anna's determination on that front at least.]
I don't know that my brother really looks like me. But your sister should be easy to spot with all that. I think these lockets are supposed to help. Maybe if you don't see her here at the Feast if you use that to ask?
no subject
Do you know how these work?
no subject
I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it isn't too hard. Maybe if I help we can figure it out together?

locket;
Yeah, I can see why you might want to get back to that. Especially with how wintery it is around here right now. Kind of the opposite end of summer. If it helps at all, a lot of people around here aren't really sure what's going on! And, uh. Yeah, a lot of people want to go home, too. Whiiich doesn't make it that much better, but at least you're not alone there! Totally relatable.

Are you...
[ Blink, blink. It seems like a crazy thing to say, but all of this is kind of crazy already... ]
... you're not inside there, are you?

So I'm talking to you... and you're somewhere else. Right.
[ Another nod. At this point she's mostly trying to keep it straight to herself. ]
Can these - can I speak to anyone?

[ She doesn't look like a Viking, but oh she sounds like one when she chatters on casually about decking some guy that deserved it. Homesickness drives him to reply. ]
Enchanted sleeps occasionally send people home in their dreams, but their body remains here and goes through changes. That ... probably doesn't help you, sorry. It's the best I've got.

Oh! ... Ehe, sorry.
[ She tucks a lock of hair behind her ear, smiling apologetically. ]
Yeah - that's nice and all, but it... reeeeeally doesn't help me. [ Bluntness is just part of her personality though, and it's not meant to be rude. She's smiling in that very thanks but no thanks way that says it clear as day. ]

Most of the time it's normal conversation, sometimes he feels like he's eavesdropping, and then there are times like this where he jumps a little when it comes to life.
Well well well, she might be shouting, but at least she's pleasant to the eye.)
Yeah, it's on. And very, very loud. (His brows raise curiously as she presents herself. He almost looks impressed, he hasn't met much in the way of royalty before, only the Hollywood kind really.)
From what I'm reading, home isn't much of an option.
