Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Character: Rin Tohsaka.
Series: Fate/Stay Night.
Court: Unseelie.
Current Location: Aghmhor.
Planned Travel: Despite having a lot of plans, most of them don't involve travel save for special events. Starting with Briste in early March 2701, she will move to a town in Aghmhor. Most of her plans involve traveling to Treun or Leathann which are in the area, though she might be persuaded to venture further if given a good reason.
General overview of recent events: With a stroke of good luck, Rin discovered knowledge of a previous airship builder and has been drumming up interest for prospects in that area. In her free time, she studies various trade routes and markets throughout the Drabwurld as well as her own magical studies.
Recent open threads/posts: Nothing too open right now due to the battle, but there will be plenty of stuff coming up if you read on.

❚ That she's the victor of the Fifth Holy Grail War.

❚ She has a closer connection with Lancelot (Unseelie) than she lets on, viewing him more like an adult figure instead of bickering senselessly with him. If he tells her to do a thing, she will do it.

❚ Midnight Court and Death's Altar details.
❚ That the known world has grown smaller over time and the maps differ from years ago.
❚ Some handy stuff about magic in the Drabwurld, specifically the culture of the Aellyn tribe of elves and the strongest magic.
❚ That flying crafts used to exist in the Drabwurld. They are not only hard to come by, but likely no longer work!
❚ But that she can make them work.
❚ How to activate one's shard. Not that she's offering to teach that to just anyone.
❚ Same with Drabwurld magic.
❚ Most details regarding the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail War.
❚ Details related to most of the Servants in-game.
❚ If it has to do with Type-Moon and Magic, she likely knows it. People who are interested in knowing more about Dead Apostles, the Church, etc could always inquire about it with her.

• AIRSHIPS: Rin will have three airships available. While the fully crafted one has been claimed by The Brucolac entirely, there are two enchanted ones that will be worked on during the time skip that are up for grabs. There are a couple of CR opportunities that might get precedence, but I've been waiting for this post to discuss that.
• CHARITY/GRAND OPENING: In March 2701, there will be a party hosted in Alghmhor in the town the new Barrel is opened in for the purpose of earning money to help those areas affected by Jabberot. Dumb shenanigans haven't been decided on. Might be too early for a DATING AUCTION, but maybe not??
• TREUN'S TOURNAMENT: Will be actively participating in Magic Dueling and will take on people even after the duels because she is that full of herself.
• ANOTHER CHARITY/ORPHANAGE: In November 2701, Rin will be hosting another auction in Aghmhor to help earn funds for an orphanage under Matron Alice Liddel.
• HEIR: Because Saber can't resist giving her girlfriend gifts she's ripped out of people, Rin will adopt a native child and work on making him into a Type-Moon character. He will be seen often with Rin, Waver, and Saber throughout the year.
• COMMUNICATIONS: Due to the limitations on communication, Rin will be taking commissions to create individual "networks" for people. She won't ask about who will use them, but for my OOC knowledge I'd need to know just to keep my list updated.

Might be challenging to straight-up import our TDM CR, as excellent as that was, but even if we can't do that I'd like for them to meet during the skip if that's possible. Presumably in the Station or other neutral territory!

Oh no way, she's been at the Station a lot in the past though I'm not sure if around the same time as him. Since she'll be working between Spire 10 and Thrall's trading post at times, it'd be easy to drop her in there at any given time provided the Station is working.

I definitely want the CR though so reaches for. I'm slowly going through all the posts here so if he has one, I can hit you up there :D

While I'm 90% sure Clarke's castmate will be setting up an alternative to the lockets to access the network, she's way too overly cautious and will likely be looking for other options as a backup! And if she finds out that Rin is capable of that, she'd definitely find a way to make an exchange for it -- either with money, teaching her medic skills, or the offer to run information for Rin in the letter/info-running network she's participating in! I'm super flexible. c:

MONEY ALWAYS WORKS though she wouldn't say no to the other things, mostly because they seem slightly more useful than money. Alternative methods are always good though. Soon everyone in the Drabwurld is going to be like:

But no I am totally open for new CR and plan to have her in a lot of public events. I just went to check out your timeskip page and am blown away by your set up, very nice.

I genuinely hope that's how the comm devices happen. Everyone clips it to their bags and packs around the Drabwurld. Yes.
