Radagast the Brown | Middle Earth/Tolkien
[Radagast is on edge when he arrives at the Station, eyes wide. Wi-Fi? Coffee? It's barren and foreign, nothing like what he's ever seen before.
He had found the mushrooms on his way into the Station and a good many had been stashed in his robes, though he had deemed them safe perhaps there was something at work here. A strange magic, that's what it was. Strange magic and he didn't like it one bit..]
(3) The Great Greenwood
[This is better! Much better! The brown wizard's steps slowed as he passed underneath the trees with an almost reverent expression. The sounds of birds, the faint noises of creatures living their lives is as music to his ears.
The affection of the forest, the life, he can feel it all about him. Yes, this is where he belongs.]
Oh hello there, yes yes come, we shall get to know each other [He says kindly to a passing bird, lifting his brown hat to let it dart underneath to where a nest awaits. A new friend!
That doesn't mean he isn't paying attention, whirling around at the sound of footsteps, staff in hand.]
The Great Greenwood
Sorry. I didn't mean to sneak up on you.

Not a dwarf, not hairy enough. Not a hobbit either, so most likely one of the race of Men then though the arrow is such a strange marking.] What brings you out in these woods?
no subject
[He's not sure if he expects the strange man to understand or not. On one hand, most people don't have the senses of an Avatar and can't feel spiritual energy, but on the other hand, that guy just had a bird nap on his head.] What about you? Are you a native, or were you brought here like me?
[He casually glances up, then perks.] Hey! [And without warning, he jumps up much higher than any human really should, then lands light as a feather on a branch above them, crouching down and peering into a knothole in the wood.] There's an animal. I've never seen that kind before. [He's close enough to the knothole to see inside, but not so close that it would be overwhelming for whatever animal there is in there. For its part, a squirrel sticks its head out of the hole, blinking at Aang for a moment before deciding he's not a threat and then pulling back in, possibly for a nap.
Aang, for his part, is fascinated. He's never seen a plain squirrel before!]
no subject
He looks up when Aang suddenly jumps up, peering up and grinning when he sees the squirrel.]
Hello there, little friend! Fear not, it is safe to venture forth. [Radagast is eager to befriend and speak to the beasts here so his voice is friendly, comforting.]
no subject
Hey! [He giggles and squirms as the squirrel bounds up his arm and down his back to the branch.] That tickles!
[And then it's running down the trunk towards Radagast, clicking softly as it goes.]
no subject
He is pleased to meet you too! And ah! yes yes! [He's distracted by listening to the chattering of the squirrel before letting it run up his hat to look about.] He knows you mean him no harm.
no subject
[And he jumps off the branch. Jumping from that high should really end with a broken bone, but he lands lightly on his feet in front of Radagast, a gust of wind blowing outwards from where he touches ground.] Can he say what he is? He looks like squirrel toad or a pheasant squirrel, just... without the toad or the pheasant. [The fauna are weird where this kid comes from.]

the great greenwood (i couldn't resist - sorry!)
...You've got bird shit on your face.
(ahaha I love it!)
Ah yes! I was wondering where that had gotten too! [He says as he takes a little off with an excited look, tasting a bit before nodding with satisfaction..] And my thanks for letting me know, I had been looking for it!
no subject
And here he thought he'd get a day out in the woods to himself. There is company that he would prefer to being alone, but none of them are here, and certainly not the man that he just came across. He stops where he is, a good number of feet away, body language alert yet imperious, inherently distrustful and distant.
He barely remembers more about Radagast than his name and affiliation, but that is enough for the moment.]
And what is it that you have to offer your "friend", in the confinements of your hat? [His question is biting. Finally, a familiar face, and it is not one of those that he wishes to see so dearly. It makes his mood even worse.]
no subject
Ah well, he's doesn't see any reason to walk away and Fëanor is looked at directly, this wizard isn't a push over.]
I would offer to show you the same hospitality but you don't seem like you could fit under there. [He said with a jab of his staff in the other's direction.] But I don't think you want to talk about the birds, do you?
no subject
What is your role in all of this?
[It's a twofold question - is he with those that are behind it in some way, and if not, what side would he be on.]
no subject
[Radagast said as he leaned down to pick up a small mouse which had simply stopped by to greet him. Wars will always be fought, but his duty has been to the living creatures who need his protection even here. That's whose side he's on.]
No doubt you have your part to play as well. [The wizard remarks, his gaze sharp as he turns to Fëanor once more.]
no subject
[It required time and a good deal of deliberations, but at this point he has decided that being here is actually not even a detour, it's just a different path. And he can even laugh at how terribly his sudden absence must confuse the Valar.
Not that he appreciates the way in which he was brought here at all, or some of the other circumstances. But so it is.]
I take it that you came alone to those parts?
no subject
That's right, just me. We seem to be the only two, hm? [The wizard said with a shake of his head, even the Elves couldn't get Radagast to leave his woods usually, and especially not without his bird friends.]
no subject
The question is responded to with a short nod. It seem that way - not the only ones in general, but the only ones who hail from Arda, one way or the other.] Nor are any to be found among those that arrived here long ago. [After finding out about the different times that one could arrive, he's been searching around the courts and extended his search outside of them as well. There are a number of people of whose presence he would want to know, one way or the other.]

So he allows his footsteps to be heard and raises both hands, free of weapons, though his bow remains slung over one shoulder and his sword remains sheathed at his side.]
Peace! I mean no harm.
Re: 2
Then welcome, friend. [He said with a satisfied nod after a moment.] Perhaps you know what this place is, no life in it at all!
no subject
[While Radagast was looking at Beleg, Beleg was studying the Istari right back and not bothering to hide that fact]
no subject
Well, lets find a way out of here then. I don't like this place, not one bit! [Granted, he doesn't like being inside at all but any place with such sterile air and little vegetation doesn't sit well with him.]
no subject
I admit to the same. Not enough fresh air and green growing things. [And far too many people who seemed to have their heads down looking at odd devices all the time.]
no subject
So many walls, such a confining place, it really baffles him now no one else seems to be worried about it.]
no subject
This way...I believe I smell fresh air coming from this corridor.

The Great Greenwood
Not that he minds terribly much. The woodland life is wondrous, and there are so many plants around. He can hear their voices even here. However, he does think he should get back to the castle and find the Musketeers. He is crouched down next to some wildflowers asking for directions when he hears footsteps nearby. Not really thinking about any possible dangers, Souta calls out.]
Hello?
