One never knows what roustabouts might take that as invitation.

And what would be the correct way to approach, then hm? I imagine the Lady Sif is not to be won with pretty words of flattery!

[ Sif can actually be pretty terrible at reading signals and flirting and all that stuff. It's not that it flusters her or that she is shy, she just tends to not know how to make the most of her chances.

It might have something to do with currently pining for a man who does not love her back. ]

One may wait even if they think it unavailing. [ he shrugs ] I expect that if I had not been brought here I would have waited long by the shore, despite knowing that what I waited for would never return.

Equally so, people can surprise you, Lady Sif, and he might yet, this one you think of.
