Rules: 1. Post with your character by creating a "card" with your name, sex, and preferences. 2. Tag to others. 3. You supposedly only have seven minutes, but that's up to the muns how many comments. [To hell with that, let's not put a limit on how many comments] 4. Have fun.
Yeah, a little bit. [Siiiigh. You ready for story time? Okay.]
It's really kind of a funny custom. I have no idea who's timing this thing but we're supposed to switch every couple of minutes and it's based on the idea that you can get a good read on somebody after just talking to them for a second. You're familiar with dating, right? Think of it like you totally skipped the dinner and the movie and you're walking your date to the front door to bid them good night. You have like this limited amount of time to make a good impression so you can land a second date. At the end of it, you can either give them a call the next day, or you move on to the rest of the dating world and start over.
...at least I think that makes the most sense. I've never done this.
Well. At least he's not asking what happened to old Mexico so that New Mexico became a thing.]
It's like...you know what a play is, right? A movie's just like a play but it's recorded so you can watch it on a screen over and over again instead of just seeing it live once.
Yeah with a camera. [Oh god no Lancelot won't know what a camera is. Come on. Think.
...books have to exist back then, right?]
Okay let's say you have a book. You know how the book has words that are written and they're always there so you can read them over and over again? That's kind of what a movie does but it's with pictures that move at a certain rate so that it--you know what never mind. Tell you what. If you somehow get a second date out of all of this, I will personally send you to the Station so that you and your date can see a movie first-hand.
What happened to dancing. I WAS HOLDING OUT FOR DANCING.
What does that even mean? Whose scale are you going by anyway? [Granted Ryan's pretty sure the same is true about himself, but nobody ever said he wasn't sort of a hypocrite.]

Ryan. Ryan please. You're making it worse.
[ Slowly tilts head. ]
That's it, in exchange for defense lessons Ryan will give you pop culture lessons Lance

I somehow doubt I will have a... 'date', as you say, but thank you all the same.
Oh there will be dancing. Til then let him introduce you to the cinematic masterpiece "Footloose"...
What makes you so sure you won't?
Oh my god
I would not expect such a thing. There are plenty here with more merit than I.
