There was, briefly, a before. Still, I was never kind in the mornings, nor overly enamoured with humanity.

What sort of stories?

How your kind is made. Or born, or whatever word you'd like to use. It isn't surprising that there's so much variety, given all the people here from different worlds with equivalent sorts. Some have said it's much like any other race, some say vampir are made from a single bite, some say there's a more complicated process so it can't be done unintentionally.

Ah, yes. In my world, the horror stories told are typically an exaggeration of the contagious threat we pose.

A single bite can do it. But it's a capricious bacteria, difficult to predict.

Likely very confused. I was a child. Just breaching my twenties.

Perhaps age has little to do with it, really. Nonetheless, I was a child.

I suppose if you have the lifespan of a demon, human years look rather small. But you weren't wrong at the time.
