I can sense when people are close to death, and feel it when they die. Spirits and monsters and such I can't feel, though. Only those with mortal souls. I can see, talk to, touch, summon, and generally interact with ghosts. I can travel through shadows to get from one place to another instantly. I can summon the bodies of the deceased to do combat for me.

[There are other things, but he doesn't want to get into those. Killing things he touches when he's extremely afraid? Yeaaaaah no.]
