Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Character: Gilgamesh (occasionally referred to by his Servant class, "Archer")
Series: Fate/Zero
Court: Seelie
Current Location: Traveling around the world with Aslan, exploring its corners for Waver's quest.
Planned Travel: ...even more roaming around the map! Unlike his lazier Zero counterpart, Gilgamesh will be quite active in hitting up various hubs and seeing all there is to see.
General overview of recent events: Gilgamesh is a very recent arrival to the Drabwurld. After lounging in his usual luxury for the first week or so, he caught wind of a troubling rumor: that a woman in black calling herself Saber led the Unseelie forces. Roused to action, Gilgamesh marched with the Seelie army to confront Saber directly. He got his wish and confirmed his suspicions, as a corrupt Saber attacked and bested him in combat. Spared by the Knight but exhausted to the point of near death, he recovered by the Pool of Souls and swore revenge for the insult. Since then, he rescued a dragon and went adventuring with Aslan, with the intent to confront a certain magus on the state of affairs.

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: Aslan is probably his closest confidant right about now! Since he's new, like I said, he doesn't have that broad of a CR circle, though I'm hoping to change that. Dorian is quickly becoming a favorite target to pester, and his #1 "if it's red, it's dead" kill-on-sight target is none other than Saber herself. Gilgamesh is also generally not on good terms with many of the characters from his home world due to being a gigantic asshole prone to betrayal, even if that may change over time here.
What notable events has my character been a part of?: Gilgamesh took part in the recent Battle of An Càrn Bàn, holding off the Unseelie forces (read: cleaving a straight path to Saber with complete disregard for anyone in his way) and engaging their commander.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: A whole lot! Gilgamesh, unlike some Servants, takes no care to hide his identity, and so will freely give his name away, his Servant class, and will also frequently divulge the secrets of others (sorry, guys, he's a loudmouth). If you spoke to him at least once, he likely already dumped you with plenty of info regarding his kingship and personal experiences. Almost everything related to Gilgamesh can be freely handwaved as public knowledge because of this.
What information is limited to specific CR?: The only exception to this information would be Gilgamesh's relationship with Enkidu, his gay clay lover best friend from the days of yore. He never discusses it with anyone and so the only way to gain this information would involve mind-reading abilities, or somehow hammering it out of Aslan. ...and he won't tell you, so good luck.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: As mentioned, Gilgamesh is out for blood when it comes to Saber. If it involves a weakness of hers (or, speaking in broader terms, a weakness of the world), he will gladly share it with others. While Gilgamesh is intelligent and undeniably crafty, it is important to keep in mind that he can be very easily manipulated in regards to ego if certain strings are pulled and certain conditions are met.

• Advance in influence in rank! I am looking to seriously powerhouse it to bigger and brighter stars for Gilgamesh so he can start really bossing people around, as he was born to do. Do you want part of the MMO grinding action? Then let's talk.


• Explore the map! On a similar note, Gilgamesh will be getting JRPG protag swag on and flying all over the place. To this end, traveling companions would be fantastic for him.


• Gather loyal companions and subjects! Is your character dumb... uh, I mean, enterprising enough to join the great army of Gilgamesh? See me for details!


• Attend festivals! It really can't be stressed enough that I am open to anything and everything at this point. If you want stuff with Gilgamesh, then I want stuff with you, and the best bet is to hit him up at one of the various festivals that will take place over the timeskip. He will be there. He will be embarrassing. You will love it.


• Harp event! This is the one thing in particular I have specific plans for! I want to have some fun with this and net Gil some CR XP in the process, so he will be affected throughout the event and in various locations on the map for glorious cross-Court interaction. I will put this up sometime in March (our time) so everyone can get a piece of the action.


• Other stuff! Seriously, hit me up with ideas. Chances are Gilgamesh is available and I'm interested, so don't hesitate to contact me.

Gil will likely be significantly less assholish on his questing/adventuring rounds and is very prone to making others suffer FANTASTIC TALES OF HIS LEGEND. As a certain poor someone is already finding out.

He's also going to be hanging around a giant lion and that's always a great conversation starter.

At least one of the harp prompts I had in mind is firmly in Unseelie territory, so Unseelies can get in on it.

...I still had to think of what Gil would even post to the network though that's mostly irrelevant for the timeskip, sadly.

I need to get something clarified for one location, but he will definitely be pining in distinctly Unseelie turf while being plenty noisy about it. Consider it an open invitation for Grell and anyone to come check it out (and point and laugh at him I did say it would be embarrassing).

He probably won't get to meet Ganon proper until after the timeskip, but would you be up for them meeting while Ganon is going under the name "Zelda"? It could lead to some interesting conversations given Ganon's bearing (even while in another form) and could carry over to some interesting plot follow up afterward when Zelda is being played by someone else. Maybe at the tourney?

SO UHM FARRAH TOLD ME TO ASK BECAUSE I'M SHY HI. but like. would you want to so some quest help with me in June while he's in Treun? Emil has a quest in Treun and he's doing it in stages and having difficulties and he's actually probably ask if Gil would help him because Treun people are all self-sufficient and don't need anyone but Gil is charismatic so maybe he knows how to talk to people is Emil logic.
