While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Hi!! I'm kind of floating around to each Spire runner to let you know that Clarke was charged by Saber to implement medical stations at each of the Spires over timeskip. This can either be handwaved, or we can work out an alternative to thread part of it! I have a super basic outline of which Spires Clarke will be at over the course of timeskip here! Clarke will get the clinic started, and if you'd like to handwave her training NPC's who want to work in the clinic, I'm totally open to that.

If you'd like your characters Spire opted out of this just let me know!

Following that, tried and failed to stop the Jabberwhelp in Caer Glaem and then retired to Cothromach to heal.

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: Pod has befriended Castle, Kaldur, Faramir, Kelsi and Ryan so far, and met many more people. She doesn't have any enemies, yet.
What notable events has my character been a part of?: She was heavily involved in helping people escape from Caer Glaem! People who have contact with animals around Glaschu might have heard about her helping the wolves.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: The white hair is natural. She's a Beast Healer, and very intelligent.
What information is limited to specific CR?: that she's a bastard-child. That Kiga killed a man to save her. That the Master assigned to teach her died basically in her arms.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: She's happy to discuss her magic and her world with people! She'll be a little shy about revealing she knows a Dragonlord from her world personally, but most things that aren't really limited, are fair game if the convo turns that way.

I'd love to run into Pod during the winter of the timeskip while she's searching for the white hart and his shrines, assuming she's still doing so that far into the year. Wan's got a thing for animals and spirits and he'd be down for paying respects to the hart, even if he doesn't get to meet him. I think it could be a good basis for future CR if you're up for it?

Often seen in the company of Aramis.
What information is limited to specific CR?: His upbringing re: his mother as a slave, growing up in the slums of Paris. He doesn't regularly announce that one of his best friend's is in the Seelie court either, mostly for his protection.

More seriously: due to his roots and his work as a Musketeer, he's mostly interested in helping innocent bystanders caught up in this entire mess. He's going to be traveling around with Katsa and aiding her Council, a network that looks to help people for the common good. Once survivors of Caer Scima are settled, he'll be swinging by the Station, where he helped out during his first quest. Earning money via gold swans, tourneys and the usual fight club bare knuckle style boxing set-up are to be expected. Also: increasing his firepower and trying to think of a way to herd his friends together in neutral territory.

General overview of recent events: Did you character see a dragon that was not really a dragon > Charles provided the visuals.

And then he overdid his telepathy/was subjected to everyone else's suffering which is a Big Deal for him if you've seen DOFP (if not, basically he's still getting used to having his powers again after a break of several years and is still fine tuning the empathy dial.)

What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: British, friendly, comes from 20th century Earth. People from when he first came knew he arrived with his wheelchair, although he's since regained use of his legs.
What information is limited to specific CR?: Friendship with Erik. He's told one person ig in the Seelie court so far and he's willing to brush over the memories of anyone who saw them at the Yule party. This is a war and at least Morla so far has been willing to use them against one another.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: Telepathy! He only really tells people straight off if they have other abilities, too.

What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: His name, job, handiwork with a gun/his fists, preference for war and familiarity with fighting in wars.
What information is limited to specific CR?: Anything emotional because wow, he's a brick. The fact that Sherry Birkin is someone he's left behind and truly worries about, almost anything about his past because he finds it too 'weak' to share.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: Where he got his 'supernatural' powers from, literally any of his views about the world here, how he feels about anyone.

General overview of recent events: Élise was only able to help he panicked and injured escape the Jabberwhelp during the attack on Caer Glaem, and it highlighted how important it is to not be a vanilla mortal in this world. The whole thing left her with a slightly unfavorable view of Unseelie, since it seems to her that releasing such a beast on a castle full of newcomers is like bombing a civilian base, but she also knows that awful things happen in war, and in general won't hold opposing court alliance against others.

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: Very few, as she's new and hasn't shared what strong ties she does have with others. No enemies, mainly acquaintances so far.
What notable events has my character been a part of?: Pretty much just fleeing the Jabberwhelp.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: Élise comes from France during the time of the Revolution, is well-educated and very good with a sword.
What information is limited to specific CR?: That she is a Templar, part of a centuries-spanning organization devoted to improving the world for mankind through order, and was raised to be the next leader of the French sect. Only canonmate Arno Dorian is aware of that at this time.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: That Élise was brought up in a rather unnusual manner for her time, not particularly constricted by gender/social norms, though she'd explain this away by labeling her parents progressive rather than reveal being a Templar. Also her past relationship/continued closeness with Arno—it's not really a secret, but she doesn't see the benefit of splashing her cross-court relationship around.

• Learn magic. Élise views this as a practical necessity and will be making it a major priority.

• Build up a network of CR on all sides of the conflict. She's not aggressively neutral, as she's willing to play the good Seelie if it ends up being the best way to get her home faster, but allies are good and not everyone she cares about is in her court.

General overview of recent events: The Brucolac is the Baron of Srathmarbh/the Ninth Spire, fought in the battle of An Carn Ban and was around the Station when the Jabberwock was killed. He took an enchanted arrow to the shoulder which fucked him up. He has announced that the Srathspire is open to refugees, especially vampires.
Recent open threads/posts: Uhh, it's all battle stuff which I think I've had my fill of, but I may throw up an open log at Spire 9 shortly.

• Gambling away two unborn kids in an attempt to kill Reynard's daughter Severine. It's okay, he's sold himself to the Unseelie monarchs for their safety, and Alyosha's going to look after them. So that's fine. It's all fine. ...:(


• Present an An Carn Ban cutting a line of carnage through Seelie ranks; at the Station when the Jabberwock died mostly just completely misunderstanding Lancelot and Faolan and then writhing around on the ground screaming and crying because magic arrow.

What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?:

• Scary vampire, likes other scary vampires. Easily moved by their plight, though also strict with those he takes under his wing. Easily made furious by what he sees as injustices perpetrated against vampires or other non-humans.


• Former sailor, with the mouth to match.


• Worships the moon; fascinated with religion and mythology.


• Baron of Srathmarbh, fierce Unseelie soldier/leader of troops.


• If new, it's quite easy to discover that while he may seem loyally Unseelie now, that wasn't always so straightforwardly the case; quite a few people have heard him muttering hatefully about Morla.


• A member of the Midnight Court; under moonlight, a snake tattoo appears on his right hand.


• Has big plans for Srathmarbh, though what those plans are are unclear.

What information is limited to specific CR?:

• He's not at all so sold on the Unseelie cause as his position suggests, but he is beginning to feel it's the only realistic option. Nonetheless, he has a great many neutral connections.

• Drugs trade, criminal connections: the Brucolac is willing to induct new people into his criminal circle, make introductions, and also charge PCs with various quests relating to the criminal underground. (When...he can give out quests, which will hopefully be the case pre-timeskip.)


• Airships and skyports: if relevant, the Brucolac may offer information about this, but would probably go through Rin first as a matter of etiquette.


• Oh God The World's Ending: B knows a reasonable amount about the metaplot. Also, sigils, but that's very tough to get out of him.


• Pretty much anything in the 'specific cr' thing, to be honest, though possibly not from the horse's mouth; if you think it'd be fun to have your character discover something, whether inadvertently or not, hit me up and we'll talk it through.

• Srathmarbh becomes a thriving, somewhat ramshackle centre of construction and commerce; an eternal work-in-progress, it is known for its opportunistic architecture and also its printing press.


• The children are born, rescued and placed in the care of Alyosha Hazan, with whom the Brucolac...perhaps reconciles?


• The Brucolac helps build and comes into possession of a flying ship.


• His three slake-grubs hatch into full-blown brain-eating moths. He uses them to assassinate Mr Bones. Drugs trade flourishes. (Dependent upon being able to find a way to control them!)


• MAGIC. Srathmarbh will have a number of fountains and waterfalls, natural and manmade; the Brucolac will be looking into using these to capture the power of the moon, as taught to him by Linn. He'll also be experimenting with bullshitting more rituals and working on his shadow magic.


• Generally: increased political capital, a well-known Unseelie governor, sliiightly more positive relationships with vampire clans, more settled in himself, far more to lose. B)

He is still new, so hasn't really done much of anything.

Talk to him long enough, and you'll start to see cracks when he talks about the war. The things that went wrong slowly will come out, the things he regrets, though the latter will take quite a bit of work.
That technically he's sort of on the run from his government, which is why he's not completely against being where he is right now.

OK SO. We talked about this on Plurk but I'm putting it here too. Castle and Howard definitely should meet because he thinks science stuff is cool (even if he can do zero of it) , but also more selfishly because Castle would really love to be able to use a gun here. He's also going to be learning some basic offensive and defensive magic over the skip because being a PI means putting himself in dangerous situations and since he can't use a gun, he's going to need something potentially lethal to threaten people with if they mess with him.
